Course Objectives - Understand the Unique Challenges of Pediatric Pain, and the differences between pediatric and adult patients. -Develop Competence in Pediatric Pain Assessment: Apply Evidence-Based Pain Management Techniques, both pharmacological and non-pharmacological. -Enhance Communication and Family-Centered Care. -Promote Safe and Ethical Practices of pain management. By the end of this lecture, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to confidently and effectively manage pediatric pain in the prehospital EMS setting, ultimately improving the care provided to pediatric patients in pain.
