Objectives Understand the Etiology of Shock in Pediatric Patients Conduct Pediatric Assessments Using the Pediatric Assessment Triangle (PAT) Identify and differentiate between the various types of shock that can occur in pediatric patients, including their underlying pathophysiology. Study the specific assessment methods for evaluating shock in pediatric patients, including vital signs, clinical presentation, and physical examination. Develop skills to distinguish between the types of shock in pediatric patients, recognizing key clinical signs and symptoms to guide treatment decisions.
