Description

Objectives Evaluate primary and secondary traumatic brain injuries highlighting key indicators in patient assessment and management. Evaluate the assessment and management of trauma in patients who have sustained thoracic and abdominal injuries. Assess the classification and different types of burns with looking at the principle of assessment and key points of management with the different types of burns. Investigate the process, assessment and management of hypovolemic shock and key points of major hemorrhage control. Lecturer: Carl Dowling, EMTP Course Completion Requirements: Credits Offered: This course is approved for 2.0 CE/CME credit. Posttest: Participants must complete a posttest to assess their understanding of the material. Course Evaluation: A course evaluation is required to provide feedback on the lecture.
