Description
Objectives Describe the 3 main generalized causes of shock. Perform rapid initial assessment of a patient in shock and apply proper treatment based on assessment. Increase critical thinking ability when presented with patients who are in shock and understanding which medications might be beneficial depending on type of shock present. Understand the difference between compensated and uncompensated shock.
