Objectives Understand the principles of diving mechanics, including how pressure gradients impact the human body during descent and ascent. Gain insight into conditions such as decompression sickness, barotrauma, nitrogen narcosis, and oxygen toxicity. Learn strategies to prevent diving-related injuries and the appropriate interventions and treatments for various diving emergencies.
