Description

Objectives Explore the underlying mechanisms of burn injuries, including the physiological effects on the skin, tissues, and body systems. Learn about the common causes and risk factors for burns, such as thermal, chemical, electrical, and radiation exposures. Identify and differentiate between the various degrees of burns (first-degree, second-degree, third-degree) based on the depth of tissue damage and clinical presentation. Review the key treatment strategies for managing burn injuries, including wound care, pain management, fluid resuscitation, and infection prevention. Explore advanced interventions and considerations for severe burns, such as surgical interventions and rehabilitation.
