Objectives Explore the increasing prevalence of MCIs due to natural and manmade disasters and their impact on emergency response systems. Master the principles of effective triage, including prioritizing patients based on severity, available resources, and situational constraints. Gain knowledge of immediate and advanced care techniques for managing traumatic injuries in mass casualty events. Recognize potential challenges and errors in triage, communication, and logistics during MCIs. Learn proactive approaches to improve preparedness, mitigate risks, and enhance outcomes in disaster scenarios.
