Comprehend Signs and Symptoms of Poisoning Identify common clinical presentations associated with different types of poisoning or overdose. Learn Proper Emergency Medical Care for Poisoning and Overdose: Understand the initial assessment and management of patients, including airway support, stabilization, and decontamination procedures. Emphasize the importance of consulting medical control or poison control centers for guidance on patient care. Gain knowledge of specific antidotes and medications used to treat poisoning and overdose, such as naloxone for opioid toxicity or activated charcoal for ingested poisons.
