Objectives Obtain an awareness in the updated terminology in age when it comes to a pediatric patient. Examine the physiological differences in pediatric anatomy when dealing with major trauma compared to adults. Assess key concepts of Primary and secondary assessments in pediatric patients along with the use of the WETFLAG tool. Improve knowledge on the cause, signs and symptoms of management in pediatric patients with head injuries and abdominal injuries.
