Objectives Explain how the use of simulation enables the accelerated development of expertise. Expound on why extensive knowledge of injury patterns and mechanism of injury contribute to the development of an effective simulation. Differentiate between high and low fidelity simulations. Utilize readily obtainable materials to create low fidelity simulations of penetrating, amputation, and core bleeding wounds.
